Our Sugar Smart Kids Care Packages are thoughtfully designed to bring comfort, encouragement, and a big dose of confidence to children newly diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Each package is filled with diabetic-friendly snacks, low blood sugar treatments, fun stickers, and colorful device accessories — plus educational resources to help kids and families feel more prepared. We believe every child deserves to feel supported and empowered as they start this new journey, and our care packages are a small but meaningful way to show them they’re not alone.

Who can receive our care packages?
Our care packages are available for children ages 3-18 in the Dallas-Forth Worth metroplex who have been newly diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes within the past year. We know this can be an overwhelming time, and our goal is to make every child feel supported and encouraged as they adjust to their new normal.
Families can request a package by simply filing out the form on this page, and we’ll ship it to you free of charge. If you have any questions about eligibility or need help with the form, please don’t hesitate to reach out - we’re here to support you every step of the way.
